Before Amen shows readers that there IS power in prayer. Prayer is simply a heartfelt conversation between GOD and His children. This book starts off with The Pocket Prayer. The Pocket Prayer is a short prayer that is easy to memorize. My favorite  chapter in the book has to be “Thank You”. Max Lucado listed in alphabetical order things he was thankful for. That chapter shows readers that there are so many things to be thankful for.
