*My Review*
I loved drawing and creating pictures when I was younger....and while I'm not much of an artist, I requested to review this book because my oldest daughter LOVES to draw & she's REALLY good at it! I'm going to use this as a Christmas present for her.
When you first open the book to the contents page you will see this. I love that they have little drawings of what those sections are about.
At the start of each section you will find a little "fun fact" about each "monster", It's really quite amusing.
There are also tips and tricks explaining how to draw these characters.
I really enjoyed looking through this book myself and know my daughter will love it as well! I can't wait to give it to her on Christmas. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to draw or who is wanting to learn or brush up on their drawing skills.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via Book Blogger list and I was looking for reviews. I published a short children's picture ebook a couple of days ago and it is looking quite lonesome without any great reviews.
Tomorrow, November 22, it will be free and can be found here http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PVT0ECY
I would love for you to grab it and see what you think. It is called Doggie Went A-Courtin' and is an adaptation of the traditional song, Froggie Went A-Courtin'.
I wrote this little story back in 2009 and it won 4th place in a little competition which gave me the courage to try to get it published. However, I had no luck with traditional publishers and so when Kindle put out their kdpkids publishing format this year, I hired an illustrator and decided to give it a go.
I know you're busy, and I appreciate your consideration. Thanks so much!

For some reason I wasn't notified about this comment. :-( I would have loved to have read and did a review for your book! I have 3 little ones who would have liked it as well. Maybe next time. <3
