{{Book Review}} Buried Beneath The Words by Betel Arnold

Words! Words! Words!

Words all over the place. Accusing, blaming, and degrading words are the worst of all. After hearing those words over and over again, we begin to feel the weight of them threatening to crush the very life out of us.

Betel Arnold's Buried Beneath the Words cleverly shares a true life story about the different ways someone can end up buried beneath the weight of negative words. Then it shares a Christian course for how God's word can revive us. By putting the advice given within these pages into practice, you will experience an awakening of the real you---the you that has been buried way too long.

*My Review*
I'm sure you've heard that old saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." It's a lie! Words DO hurt, and can crush a person more than you think.

I've noticed that  just about everyone in my life use words to hurt each other at some point in time.  When I was growing up I had very low self-esteem, and still struggle with it some as an adult. I was only in public school from kindergarten until almost a few months into the 2nd grade, but I knew the power that words could have on me.

I really  loved reading how Betel confronted her own issues.  It is very empowering to find that you do not have to be bound to this life style.  This book has a mixture of stories, scriptures, song lyrics and is a great book for someone who struggles with thinking that they are not good enough for God to love them.

I am so thankful that Betel wrote  a book about an issue that all too often goes unspoken. It is a wonderful book & I think everyone should read it.
