*My Review*

The River Kitchen thermometer comes with an 8" probe which allows you to keep you hand far enough away from the main heat, yet allowing you to handle the thermometer for longer periods without discomfort from the heat. 

Even though this  thermometer is 8" long, the top is very lightweight so you don't have to worry about it being top heavy and falling over.

Clean up is super easy, which I LOVE! You carefully run water over the probe and wash it with soap on a sponge. The instructions say to sterilize the probe in boiling water, but I honestly think that this would be pointless because it will attract bacteria from the open air. If clean it after each use, you should be fine.

Final thoughts: this thermometer is super easy to use, has a long probe which is useful, and is accurate.
