*My Review*

This is such a great way to spend a Saturday! My husband and I took our three children there recently, because I was given a free $50 credit to the Bee City, Texas location in exchange for my honest review.

The staff was incredibly helpful and very talented. They have a a wide variety of pottery to paint, they also offer mosaics, painting and glass work. My husband and I each painted a mug, and our two older girls painted a bank each, and my 3 year old "helped" me. 

Check their website before going. They have a coupon section that can save you some money. This is a great activity to do with your children! We will def be going back, but we will go to one closer to home! :-) overall this is an excellent place to visit.

Back in early Dec 2014 I was given the chance to get a free year of splashmath.com You can see my post from Dec here. I have three children, but I decided to get the free subscription for my 5 yr old. I absolutely love how simple the site is to use. once you go to www.splashmath.com you will see an option to "login" or "sign up", you click whichever one you want/need.

I have an upcoming kindergartner and we are currently working on counting(past 20) & simple addition. 
I love how Splash Math can be personalized depending upon the child's level. They have levels for Kindergarten through 5. Splash Math also collects the practice data and shares analytical reports with the parents/teachers.

After your child does their activity, they see a screen with their "Practice Summary" which tells them what they completed, what percentage they completed, how many answers they got correct & how long it took them . The quicker they complete an activity, the better their percentage is. As they answer and solve problems, they are earning coins. These coins can be used to "buy" animals for their jungle and fish for their aquarium. My daughter loves earning her coins.

Overall, I think this website is great, and I will continue to use it for my daughter. She loves doing her "homework" everyday.

I started taking these on 2, Feb 2015 but I have noticed a difference. 

Before I started these Slim Quick Pure Gummies I had started drinking more water

{{Product Review}} OLDE Westport Spice & Trading Co

About a week and a half to two weeks ago I posted about the Olde Westport Spice company & trading co. You can find that post here. Because I did that post, I was sent a box of goodies from them!

Included in my box were the Olde Westport Spice & Trading Co "Championchip chili" mix, The "Chili Verde", & the Chicken Enchilada Soup mix. Each packet of mix is the perfect amount to make the chilis & the soup. Each are "Gluten Free" which is nice those those who have a gluten allergy, or who are just trying to stay away from foods with it in there.
On the back of each packet is the recipe for the chilis & soup. It says that each packet serves 6 people. I love that it gives a list of ingredients as well as the Nutrition Facts.

My box also contained two(2) bottles of spices! the first is "Mesquite" seasoning. The bottle says you can sprinkle over hamburgers, steak, fish, or baked chicken breast. It smells soooo good! I plan on trying this on some chicken this weekend! 

The second bottle is a garlic seasoning. the bottle says you can use this seasoning in sour cream 

and serve with veggies, chips or nachos. You can also use it on garlic bread, shake over veggies, or on hot pasta. 

I also received an order form with a list of all of their spices they offer along with their prices. I plan on purchasing from them soon. I think they may be my new place to get spices from. :-) I'm so thankful to the Olde Westport Spice & Trading Co, as well as US Family Guide for this chance to review such awesome products! 

::UPDATE 1/31/2015::

Today has been a yucky rainy day, so I decided to make Chicken Enchilada Soup using the soup mix that I was sent. Boy, Am I glad I did!! This soup is AMAZING, more so when topped with Southwestern style tortilla strips. My husband has already made a list of spices that he wants me to order. Harlem Globetrotters @ NRG Arena in Houston, Tx

A few weeks ago I posted about the Harlem Globetrotters coming to Houston, Texas(You can find that post here). Because I did that post...I was given 4 free tickets to see them yesterday(24, Jan) in Houston! We live in DFW, so we had a bit of a drive...but it was so worth it! My girls and I had never seen them live before, but my husband saw them once when he was about my oldest daughter's age.

We did have to pay $10 for parking, but that was not a big deal. After we parked we had a bit of a walk to the NRG Arena. Apparently there were other things going on around the Arena so the parking lot was packed.

Once we got to the Arena, I went up to their little box office and told the lady my name and that I had 4 tickets waiting for me. Once we had our tickets we went and gave them our tickets. They did a bag check because I had my backpack(had diapers & wipes for my tater tot), but that wasn't a big deal either because I had nothing to hide.

Once we were inside the arena we went to check out the Globetrotters merch they had for sale. We ended up getting one of the Leather Bballs($60 but WELL worth it), then we went to our section and found our seats. I have to say...we had pretty awesome seats, esp for them giving us free tickets.

I took nearly 1000 pictures! I won't post them all here, but I will post some of my favorite pictures. I will post the others on my Facebook, of course the only ones who will be able to see them are my friends on FB.

We planned on not spending any money while at the arena that way the only thing we had to pay for was gas to Houston and back home, and parking...but...We ended up getting 3 basketballs! 

A leather one($60), A reg One($25), and a small one($20). I'm glad we bought them, because this may be the only chance my girls get to see the globetrotters & now they can say they have authentic basketballs from the globetrotters!  

I'm so thankful that we were able to go out and spend a day as a family, & we had so much fun & made many great memories! If you get the chance to see the globetrotters DO IT! They are so fun to watch. Have you ever seen them in person? If so, where at? I'd love to hear from you!
